Download iOS 8 from the Dev Center

• Create a backup for all the data which is currently on your iPhone. Alternatively, use an iCloud account for automatic backup.


• Visit the iOS 8 Dev Center using your computer. Click on iOS 8 beta tab.


• Select the model of your Apple device from the given list. In order to find out your model number, flip your device over. You will find the model number at the bottom.


• The download will begin. It may take some time. Sit back and relax while the download proceeds and reaches completion.


• Upon completion, unzip the file which you just downloaded.

Open iTunes on your Computer

• Plug in your Apple device to your computer through your Lightning cable. Open iTunes on the computer.
