Samsung Z IN A NutShell : TIZEN OS

Samsung Z is a new hype in the tech world owing to the introduction of a new operating system: Tizen. The smartphone consists of a set of high-end features including a 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor, 4G connectivity and a 2600 mAh battery. The gadget houses an impressive 4.8 inches display screen with Super AMOLED capacitive technology. In addition, 780 by 1280 pixels resolution is going to be amazing for a superior multi-media experience. Other specs of the phone include an 8 MP main shooter, 16 GB memory onboard and the regular connectivity options, such as Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi.

Tizen and New UI

Tizen is a new operating system which has been developed by Samsung in partnership with Intel Corporation. The new OS resembles Android since both are Linux based and are open source. In fact, as much as one-third of Tizen is the same as Android. However, there are a few major differences as well, such as the user interface. The home screen of Android based phones bears only the clock and one row of your preferred apps at the bottom of the screen. However, the home screen in Tizen based phones brings a complete app drawer like display.

Floating Browser Effect

This effect is also termed as multi-window view for apps. Although this is not a new concept, it has still not been available on every single Android phone. However, this multi-window view will be available to Samsung Z users.

Tizen VS Android

Users of Samsung Z are going feel a difference as compared to their previous Android phones. Although both the operating systems are similar, there are some noticeable differences. These are summarized in the table below.
